What We Do
MWANAKATWE FARMS is a growing agribusiness found in Morogoro Region, Tanzania, East Africa. As a company, it was registered in BRELA by Registration Number: 619825 in October, 2025. So, it has no much in history, but very smartly determined to deliver in terms of productivity across agricultural sector, be it at local levels, regional and the international community.
Vision: To be a hub of agricultural excellence and innovation, driving a sustainable, inclusive, and profitable future for generations to come across East Africa and beyond.
Mission: To empower farmers, students, and investors through innovative agricultural, blue economy initiatives and livestock solutions, targeted training, and financial facilitation that drive sustainable growth and community transformation.

Our goal is to Streamline, Revolutionize, Modernize, Commercialize and Internationalize Agribusiness projects, enterprises and initiatives in partnership with Domestic and International partners.
Coverage
While Mwanakatwe Farms is currently based in Tanzania, our vision extends across East Africa and beyond. We aim to expand into Uganda, Kenya, Burundi, Rwanda, and other regions across West, South, and North Africa. Our long-term reach includes strategic markets in Europe, the Americas, and Asia — with a focus on India and China. This global outlook reflects our commitment to inclusive, scalable, and sustainable agribusiness
The CEO’s Status qou
Methew Bernard is an entrepreneur who has the vision in agriculture ecosystem, as a strategic leader, and passionate advocate of sustainable and digitalized farming. Being a native of Tanzania, he is the founder of Mwanakatwe Farms, a company involved in inclusive agriculture entrenched in agriproduct, animal husbandry and projects in the blue economy. The company also is involved in consultancy in agrobusiness, and hence takes a position being an innovator in constructive initiatives within East African agriculture development.
Methew is also deeply committed to social transformation through the Kilimo Club Initiative, a platform established to unlock opportunities within the agricultural ecosystem for youth and women. By leveraging digital tools and inclusive approaches, Kilimo Club, which promotes agriculture opportunities for youth and women, food security and nutrition among others. He implements projects in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Agenda 2063: The Africa We Want, and Tanzania Development Vision 2050.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Education and completed a one-year advanced training in Israel under the Agrostudies program, where he gained in-depth experience in modern agricultural systems. Methew is also an alumnus of the Young African Leadership Initiative (YALI) at Kenyatta University in Nairobi. He brings a blend of academic knowledge, international exposure, and grassroots engagement to his work.
